Our History

Mercy Road Initiatives, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings compassion-based solutions to the local community in partnership with Northland Church. Mercy Road’s purpose is to find people in need, meet people in need and connect them with the care they need. From the start, our vision included providing faith-based educational services for students with disabilities. The leadership of Mercy Road felt that this was a gap that urgently needed to be addressed. This led to the birth of Mercy Road Christian Secondary School of Special Education (also known as Mercy High Way). In addition to creating a school, Mercy Road is positioning the school to be a role model for others to duplicate. We hope to bring this opportunity to special needs students all over the world, beginning in Longwood, FL!
